The magic world
of Lech winter
hiking trails

The 40 km network of winter hiking trails in Lech am Arlberg is excellently maintained and leads through snow-covered forests and across steep hillsides.  How about a hike from Oberlech to Tannegg, all the way to Kriegeralpe? From the mountain station of the Oberlech cable car, the trail takes you to Schlössle and from there to the Tannegg vantage point.

A walk-in art installation

Here, you can visit the Skyspace Lech, a walk-in art installation by world-famous artist James Turrell. From Tannegg, keep heading uphill, past the “Der Wolf” mountain hut and on to Kriegeralpe, where you can replenish your energy levels before following the same route back down to Oberlech.
