Cross-country skiing

Lech Zürs am Arlberg offers fantastically prepared cross-country tracks and skating routes, in fact, everything the long-distance skier could possibly wish for. Certainty of snow and 27 km of varied cross-country tracks excites both leisure skiers and professionals alike.

Wild game feeding

Wild animals, especially the native red deer, are shy forest inhabitants that are only rarely seen in the wild.

However, during the hard winter months when food is scarce, stags and deer venture very close to inhabited areas and almost forget their shyness of people. It means you can gain a close up view and observe majestic stags and deer feeding in the evening twilight.

Snowshoe hike

Accompanied by the fresh, clear winter air you can experience the unique winter landscape around Lech Zürs am Arlberg. In the process you can discover some very special secluded vantage points.
Guided snowshoe hikes take place every Tuesday and Thursday.


A “Zipfelbob” descent on the lit tobogganing run from Oberlech to Lech is a blast. The spectacular route assures an unforgettable tobogganing adventure for the whole family. Bobs can be hired at the Oberlech cable railway or in sports shops.

Winter hiking trails

Be inspired by the wonderful snow-covered mountain-scape and invigorate the senses – you can do this on numerous winter hiking trails that traverse fantastic winter landscape and culturally fascinating paths!

Horse-drawn sleigh trips

Whether by day or night – a trip in a horse-drawn sleigh is always a highpoint of a winter holiday. Numbers of participants are not restricted, also making it attractive for groups.

Ice rink & ice curling

A special highlight is the natural ice rink in Zürs. Here pirouettes can be spun and the view of the surrounding mountain world enjoyed. The first and only air-conditioned hotel ice rink hall in Europe in the Hotel Monzabon offers you 300 m2 of artificial ice for skating and curling. Enjoy icy pleasure!

Walser Museum, Museum Huber-Hus and Kästle Ski Museum

Traditional Walserhaus with temporary exhibitions and access to all the information contained in the community archives.
The historic regional exhibition in the Walser Museum in the fire station towards Stubenbach is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3.00 p. m. – 6.00 p. m.

sport.park.lech – Indoor sport

Outside, crystal clear air ideal for taking a deep breath. Inside, lots of space for refreshing sport or communal American bowling. In-between, large glass facades that hide nothing of the deep snow-covered winter world outside. Sports available: sauna, tennis, ball sports, climbing / bouldering, yoga, pilates, cycling and an inviting cafe.

Child care

The team at the Kinderclub Lech ensures that even the smallest children will soon be accompanying their parents down the large mountainside. The daily timetable is clearly structured, but nevertheless offers the children the largest possible freedom of movement and time to play with approx 2 hours of skiing, free time and a broad range of animation activities. The carers are responsible for the children for the whole day (incl. midday meal).

Ski schools in Oberlech und Lech – Skiing in perfection

Centrally located at the heart of Oberlech – the international team at the Oberlech ski school teaches current skiing techniques, fun and enjoyment in the snow and enables you to discover the many facets of winter sport.

The Lech ski school was founded in 1925 and offers courses and private tuition for young and old, for amateur to sports skiers. Cross-country skiers are also catered for.

The team at the Alpine Centre Lech boasts over 30 excellently trained skiing instructors to make your holiday a pleasurable experience. It offers you safety, fun, unforgettable experiences and a great deal of successful learning.
